Fair play to him.

Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Harry Kane was 'given the keys' to the club's social media accounts this week as he went undercover and replied to some your best comments.

The 27-year-old replied to a range of posts, including a message in 2015 that he would be a classic "one season wonder" victim and would "disappear" after a few goals.

Kane, who has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season, responded to the anonymous Twitter user by saying; "This tweet aged well. 2021, still going strong." Well...he's not wrong.

Here is that brilliant video with the England international from Spurs official YouTube channel. Enjoy!

Kane also responds to a range of posts, including a moment involving Diego Maradona in the changing rooms at Wembley stadium, playing the next Batman and 'Hareth Kale' - the quote "ugly looking geezer" with a dodgy beard.

The striker isn't the only sportsman to reply to mean tweets.

A few years ago, former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor was savage when he responded to Twitter abuse he received in a video with BT Sport.

He responded to his harshest 'critics' ahead of his UFC 189 bout with Chad Mendes, where the trash-talking McGregor was in his element and had some incredible lines, including "I'll wipe my tears with my money."

With so much abuse thrown in his direction, McGregor took it on the chin like a champion and equally fired back with relentless comments at his trolls.
