There's nothing more beautiful in football than watching Lionel Andres Messi in full flow but one American sports fan only laid eyes on the pint-sized Argentine in 2018 and was promptly astonished.
Two years back, YouTuber Allure Vision posted a video of her reacting to compilations of the six-time Ballon d'Or winner scoring, assisting, dribbling and passing.
Despite being a fan of American sports, she explains did not know anything about Messi beforehand - or anything about football/soccer on the whole for that matter.

The first step is a browse of his Wikipedia page before a series of clips of famous footballers stating that Messi is the best to have ever played the game.
But of course the perfect way to learn about Messi is to sit and watch him strut his stuff and it doesn't take long for Allure Vision to be in complete awe of the Barcelona legend and the things he does on the pitch.
She is particularly amazed at the way in which he "takes the ball from one end to the other" without anyone getting close to him and how he gives "a whole new meaning to getting your ankles broken".

The vlogger is new to Messi's magic but she summarises his effortless brilliance perfectly, saying: "It's like riding a bike to him... like he does not look like he struggles to get this done."
The 14 minute video has racked up over 500,000 views and serves as a reminder of what a pleasure it is to see Messi do his thing.
It follows on from another viral video which sees a NFL fan lose his mind watching Paul Scholes in action for Manchester United.
YouTuber TKS explained that fans had requested him watch the Manchester United midfielder who TKS says is 'talked about as one of the best midfielders ever'.

And he's well and truly blown away by Scholes' passing ability.
TKS summarised: "Everything is just perfectly placed when he passes the ball and he's like at the top of people like that, I don't know how else to describe it.
"He's like the king of passing."
