Claudio Ranieri's unmatched accomplishment of guiding Leicester to an near-impossible Premier League success will be recognised in his hometown of Rome.
The Italian was removed from his post as Leicester boss just over a week ago and a number of tributes poured in for the popular manager.
Soccer Saturday's tribute was particularly emotional and really highlighted the work that Ranieri did at the King Power Stadium.

And his achievements with Leicester are to be commemorated and Ranieri is set to receive an award from the city of Rome.
The 65-year old grew up in Rome and went on to play for and manage his beloved AS Roma and now he will receive a prestigious honour from the Capital city.
Daniele Frongia, head of the sport commission heaped praise and confirmed the award for Ranieri.
She said:

"We've invited Claudio Ranieri to Campidoglio to confer upon him an award on behalf of mayor [Virginia] Raggi and the administration for the work he did at Leicester, culminating in the historic Premier League triumph and getting through the group stage of the Champions League.
"Ranieri, a Roman born and raised in San Saba and Testaccio, rewrote the history of a team which gained proud British, Italian and Roman fans around the world."
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher had his say on the sacking of Ranieri on Monday Night Football a couple of nights ago and said the dismissal was part of a wider issue in football.
