The Premier League returns this weekend following the FA Cup fixtures, and in some style with a host of mouth-watering clashes including Leicester City vs. Chelsea on Saturday.

The defending league champions entertain the leaders with former Foxes ace N'Golo Kante returning to his old stomping ground.

Following his heroics in the middle of the park in the title winning campaign, Chelsea swooped in for Kante, as the diminutive Frenchman secured a £32 million switch.

And Kante has continued his scintillating run of form to Chelsea, churning out brilliant performances helping guide his new side to the summit of the league.

But ahead of the reunion, Claudio Ranieri has stoked the flames by saying Kante could've performed even better if he stayed at the King Power despite his impressive outings.

"I'm not surprised at how well he's done at Chelsea, but he could play better with us. Here he was better suited. He was our battery."

"With N'Golo we played with 12 players and fortunately the referee never counted how many we had on the field."

While claiming the 25-year-old star qualities are lost among the host of talent at Chelsea, unlike at Leicester where he was the shining player.

"All the spotlight was on him here whereas at Chelsea there are so many champions."

"I hope our fans give him a warm reception because he was our champion. It's important to remember what he gave us."

Will Kante get a frosty reception upon his return? Or will the Leicester faithfuls give him a warm reception? Find out Saturday.
