The Telegraph reports that Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke will consider his options at the end of the season after becoming frustrated at Crystal Palace.

The former Aston Villa man arrived for big money in the summer, with Palace forking out £27 million plus potential £5 million in add-ons for the striker.

And in fairness, his goal record off 11 goals in all competitions isn't too shabby when you consider how poor Palace have been this season.

But since Alan Pardew was given the boot and Sam Allardyce was brought in, Benteke has scored just one goal and his frustrations on the pitch have been clear.

At the end of the vital win against relegation rivals Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park, Benteke was seeing arguing with teammate Andros Townsend at the final whistle. It was in relation to a point in the game where Townsend did not pass the ball to Benteke and he let him know what he thought of his decision - with Middlesbrough goalkeeper Victor Valdes stepping in to ensure the row didn't get any more heated.

Sam Allardyce played down the incident but Matt Law from The Telegraph says that it has only added to Benteke's frustrations - with friends of the former Genk forward unhappy with the service he has received in recent times and feeling that he has become easily isolated under Sam Allardyce's management.

Benteke is said to have rejected an offer from China but he does have a host of admirers.

Benteke flopped massively at Liverpool but here are the top 10 transfer flops:

West Ham are keen on him and would look to sign him should they offload Andy Carroll, while Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is said to be a fan - though he would struggle to command a starting spot ahead of Diego Costa.

Several top clubs in Spain, Italy and Germany are also said to be interested in the 25-year old, who will consider his future irrespective of whether or not Crystal Palace avoid relegation to the Championship.

The consensus is that Palace would look for a fee around the £25 million should Benteke's frustrations grow, though they may have to settle for less if they do end up suffering relegation to the second tier.

Palace's win against Middlesbrough on Saturday means they are on the same points as Boro and only remain in the drop zone on goal difference.
