Jack Rodwell has played just two games for relegated Sunderland all season but there's more chance of me and you playing for the Black Cats than him before the campaign is up.

Manager Chris Coleman was asked if the former Manchester City and Everton midfielder is available selection for the trip to Craven Cottage to play Fulham tomorrow and he confessed that he doesn't actually know where Rodwell is.

"I don't even know where Jack is, to be honest with you," the former Wales boss said in a press conference.

"So no, he won't be involved [at Fulham].

"I'm sure that if there was a sniff of a first team appearance, I'm not sure he'd be 100 per cent fit for it, so I don't think that's going to be the case."

Rodwell, who was once tipped to be an England regular but saw his career enter a downwards spiral mainly because of injuries.

He has one year remaining on his deal at the Stadium of Light and is raking in a reported £70,000-a-week despite not offering anything to the team.

The 27-year old is to have his wage cut by 40 per cent if he is at the club for next season's League One campaign but he will still be on a massive £44,000-a-week.
