Filthy technique from the Huesca star...

Ezequiel 'Chimy' Avila may just have sealed the La Liga 'Goal of the Season' award after scoring an absolute beauty for Huesca last night.

The 25-year old, on loan from San Lorenzo, followed up Enric Gallego's cheeky opener against Eibar with the most picture-perfect volley you will have laid eyes on for quite some time.

The Argentine was free and loitering around the edge of the box when a corner was floated into his path and he took on the effort first-time, showing off some gorgeous technique to wallop a venomous volley into the top corner for 2-0.

A certain Paul Scholes had a knack for delivering sweet strikes from the edge of the box as part of corner kick routines and he would definitely be proud of what Avila conjured up last night.

For us, on the other hand, we can only dream of scoring such a glorious goal in Wembley doubles down at the local park.

The win for Huesca means they are five points adrift from safety with four games remaining and still believing that they can achieve something special by avoiding the drop.

Currently in 19th place and on 29 points, Huesca play Villarreal, Valencia, Real Betis and Leganes in their final set of fixtures.
