Chelsea's New Third Kit Design Is Basically A Crystal Palace Strip

Chelsea's New Third Kit Design Is Basically A Crystal Palace Strip

Chelsea are set to wear an incredibly bold third shirt in the 2020/21 season, with leaks showing a Crystal Palace-esque strip for the Stamford Bridge club.

The Blues, who made the switch to Nike in 2017, will have telecommunications company '3' as their main shirt sponsor for the next three campaigns starting with next term.

And while it's been a tad quiet in regards to news of what the home shirt will look like, Footy Headlines have published images of the controversial third kit.

If their information is correct as it so often is, Chelsea will be looking a lot like their london rivals whenever they play in their rumoured red and blue striped third strip.

It's said the colourway is inspired by a pair of classic Nike Air Max sneakers, with the shirt set to be released in September.

The strip is a big drop in standards from the last 'Nike x Chelsea' design after the Blues revealed a stunning a fourth kit to mark the 50-year anniversary of their first FA Cup win.
