Mesut Ozil's chances of winning big trophies at Arsenal are slim, well, that's according to former Chelsea star Michael Ballack.
His fellow German compatriot has even named the club Ozil should join if he wants to win major competitions.
Ballack has gone on the record by saying a return to the Bundesliga with powerhouses Bayern Munich will land him a better chance of lifting silverware.

Ozil is currently engulfed in a contract extension saga as his future continues to be subject to fierce speculation.
The midfield maestro has just the 18-months on his contract as he demands a significant pay rise with clubs from around Europe monitoring his situation.
Including Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG, to name but a few. Though the ex-Bayern man has suggested a move to the Bavarians if he really wants to claim the biggest titles club football has to offer.

Speaking to German outlet Bild via Metro, he began by praising him before delving into his situation; "Mesut Ozil is an outstanding footballer."
"Many clubs like him. But he knows that he enjoys a very high place at Arsenal. He lives in London, one of the most beautiful cities ever."
"To this end, Arsenal is a club that has an incredible impact on the world. If you are a top player in England, the cult around you is bigger than in Germany. You are treated more respectfully, especially. These are all reasons for an extension (with Arsenal)."

"But if he could win something big, the chance at Bayern is, in my opinion, bigger."
