Dani Ceballos got a taste of what English football was all about today and had a hilarious conversation with Henrikh Mkhitaryan about Burnley's style of football.

The Spaniard, signed on loan from Real Madrid, made his full Premier League debut in the 2-1 win over the Clarets - churning in a Man of the Match performance at the Emirates.

He left the field to a standing ovation from the Gunners' faithful and seemed to enjoy his first proper taste of football in England.

But as his comical exchange with Mkhitaryan on the bench showed, the 23-year old wasn't too impressed with Burnley's long-ball tactics.

The contrasting style to his way of playing didn't disrupt him at all though, as he dropped a masterclass in his full Arsenal debut. He registered two assists - the same number Mesut Ozil managed in the whole of last season - as well as supplying four key passes and having a 90% pass accuracy.

But the 23-year old had more than a defence-splitting in his locker, demonstrating a willingness to be on the front foot at all times by pressing and harrying relentlessly - something we saw in full flow for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's winning goal in the second half.

And in a stat that will most definitely please Unai Emery, he also covered more ground than any other player on the pitch.

Former Arsenal striker Robin van Persie waxed lyrical about the former Real Betis man's performance in his post-match analysis.

"Ceballos was by far the best player on the pitch," the Dutchman said on BT Sport.

"He was making the game, creating, he wanted the ball constantly. He was just a joy to watch. He runs a lot. I think the stats tell you as well that he ran the most of all players, so that tells you that he's alive, he's there, he wants to play, he wants to create. He's just a very positive player who's having fun, you can see he's having fun."
