Ceballos Already Has The Same Amount Of Premier League Assists As Ozil Managed Last Season

The Spaniard made a stunning start to life in North London...

Dani Ceballos' full Arsenal debut went swimmingly, with the Spaniard completely running the show at the Emirates in the 2-1 win over Burnley.

The Spaniard has signed on loan for the season from Real Madrid - and while Arsenal have to pay a loan fee to have him in the ranks temporarily - it looks like it could be an extremely tidy bit of business from the Gunners.

The former Real Betis midfielder was a joy to watch in the middle of the park. He registered two assists on his first Premier League start - the same number Mesut Ozil managed in the whole of last season - as well as supplying four key passes and having a 90% pass accuracy.

But the 23-year old had more than a defence-splitting in his locker, demonstrating a willingness to be on the front foot at all times by pressing and harrying relentlessly - something we saw in full flow for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's winning goal in the second half.

And in a stat that will most definitely please Unai Emery, he also covered more ground than any other player on the pitch.

It's early days but Ceballos looks the absolute business and Arsenal fans will be hoping for more Man of the Match performances like we saw today during his stint in North London.
