Jamie Carragher couldn't help but get the popcorn out when Gary Neville and Carlos Tevez's agent had it out on today's episode of the Sky Football show.

Having been part of a side that won two Premier League titles and the Champions League Neville had claimed that Tevez "downed tools" during his final days at United and acted unprofessionally before eventually signing for cross-city rivals Manchester City in 2009.

Kia Joorabchian, who still represents the Argentine, hit back and questioned Neville's professionalism, leading to the two having an on-air confrontation on Sky Sports this morning.

And while Neville was making a point of how he felt Tevez was in "a sulkier mood" when it became clear United weren't buying him out of his contract with Media Sports Investments, Carragher's reaction was priceless.

He was just sitting back, scoffing his face with Butterkist toffee popcorn and watching it all unfold.

Both Neville and Joorabchian saw the funny side despite being in the midst of a serious discussion.

Tevez was effectively on a two-year loan before "noisy neighbours" City coughed up the big bucks to remove him from third-party ownership after United's option to do so had expired.

Joorabchian gave his version of events of how the situation played out, while Neville, who said Tevez was part of the "best front three in Premier League history", also elaborated on his points made two days ago.

It made for a fascinating back and forth that Carragher had a front-row seat for.
