Gianluigi Buffon may be 39-years-old but the legendary stopper continues to learn from one of the best, well, in his words, the best in the modern era. You know you're doing something right when he's saying this.

The Italian has won pretty much everything on offer but it's the coveted Champions League which has evaded him. But Juventus remain with a chance as they head into the quarter-finals, though face a stiff test in Barcelona.

The Catalans will enter the tie off the back of advancing to the next round following their dramatic, and incredible comeback against Paris Saint-Germain. Though if the Italian outfit had faced Bayern Munich, Buffon would've come face-to-face with the keeper he still learns from.

That's because Buffon has admitted that he continues to learn more from watching Bayern's No.1, Manuel Neuer.

"Sometimes I watch him because I want to learn from him and improve myself." He said via Sky Sports Germany.

And not only does he observe the German in action, but he's also named him the best modern keeper while detailing his best attributes.

"(Neuer is) physically strong and confident. He gives his team calmness with his aura, is great with the ball on his feet and makes impossible saves."

Continuing to add. "He has his own era. He's the best one in the category 'modern 'keeper' for years."

Some praise. Greats recognise the great!
