Jonjo Shelvey could be facing a five match ban after being charged by the FA with abusing an opponent's race, ethnicity or nationality.
The charge relates to an incident that occurred during Newcastle's 2-0 defeat against Wolves on 17th September.

The former Swansea City midfielder's behaviour is being described as an "aggravated breach" of Football Association rules and if found guilty, he will be banned for five games. He has until 16th November to respond to the charge.
