Racism is still very much rife in our game but Brazilian forward Iury responded in the perfect way in his last game.

Playing for Zorya Luhansk in a Ukrainian top flight fixture against Vorskla Poltava, the 22-year old was subjected to monkey chants by the visiting supporters as he took a corner kick.

But he dealt with it in the best possible way by scoring an outrageous bicycle kick that left the goalkeeper with no chance after he set himself up wonderfully

He wasn't finished there though, as the former Avai man ran over to the fans and threw his arms out to mimic a monkey. An incredible way to shut up the vile racists - and Iury had the last laugh as his side won the game 3-0.

Another player who reacted brilliantly to receiving monkey chants recently was Borussia Dortmund's on-loan Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.

Last week, he Belgium international played the full 90 minutes as Borussia Dortmund drew 1-1 with Atalanta and qualified for the Europa League round of 16 courtesy of a 4-3 aggregate win.

Batshuayi, who scored a brace in the 3-2 first leg victory, says he heard "monkey noises in the stands" from a section of the home supporters and expressed his disbelief.

In typically good form on Twitter, he trolled the racists by saying, "hope you have fun watching the rest of the Europa League on TV while we are through" and telling them to watch Black Panther.

Atalanta are facing a charge as a result of the allegations, with UEFA addressing the issue on March 22.
