Huge blow for Tite's Brazil.

The five-time World Cup winners have four points on the board following games against Switzerland and Costa Rica. Next up for the tournament favourites; Serbia.

And ahead of Wednesday's clash, Tite will be without the services of Douglas Costa.

The Juventus winger will reportedly be out of action for 2 to 3 weeks according to Brazilian outlet Globo.

The winger was an unused substitute against Switzerland, but featured in Brazil's dramatic victory versus Costa Rica where he completed 100% take-ons.

Team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar provided an update on Costa who has suffered a thigh injury.

"Yesterday, at the end of the game, Douglas Costa complained of pain in the back of his right thigh, only remembering that he was injured, but in the left thigh," he said.

"It's been diagnosed as a small muscle injury, so he will not travel with us. He will stay in Sochi."

Costa's wife isn't happy with Tite. She's blamed the Brazil coach for his intensive training sessions.

"He complained that he felt pain after training, saying at Juventus it was lighter. We know this injury isn't as bad as the first one though, we hope he's back in 10 days," she said.
