Brazil boss Tite has revealed that 15 of his picks for his 23-man World Cup squad have already been decided.

Since the 56-year old took over from Dunga in 2016, Brazil have been utterly formidable. He has won 17 of his 21 games in charge, drawing three and losing just once.

The Samba stars were the first side, with the exception of hosts Russia, to qualify for the showpiece, finishing the South American qualifying campaign on 41 points, ten ahead of nearest rivals Uruguay after a dominant run.

Brazil are one of the favourites for the tournament in the summer, with their squad brimming with star quality all over the power.

And Tite has explained he only has eight spots to fill, revealing to UOL Esporte, 15 names are certain to be going to the World Cup.

He more or less gave away his preferred starting XI, with the household names obviously already in the mix.

Alisson, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Miranda, Marcelo, Casemiro, Fernandinho, Renato Augusto, Paulinho, Philippe Coutinho, Neymar, Willian, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino all have a seat on the plane for the five-time World Cup winners.

Being honest, that 15 right there is probably good enough go all the way in Russia, but there are eight other spots up to the grabs.

Manchester City's Ederson will no doubt be one of them after his stunning debut season in England, while the list of players still in contention includes City target Fred, Malcolm of Bordeaux, Juventus winger Douglas Costa, Fabinho, Filipe Luis, David Luiz, Alex Sandro, Jadson, Taison, Bernard, Jemerson, Hulk, Ramires, Oscar and Alex Teixeira.

When the aforementioned players aren't already nailed on to be party of the 23-man travelling party, you know you've got a very, very strong squad.

Do you fancy Brazil to win a sixth World Cup in Russia?
