Borussia Dortmund's fans are some of the most boisterous and impressive in European football, helped by their infamous Yellow Wall and one Premier League club could try and replicate it in their new stadium.

On a regular Champions League night around 65,000 people pack themselves into Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park to create one of the best atmospheres in Europe's elite club competition for a team who have a very decent home record.

Check out Dortmund's what could have been:

One of the main reasons for that atmosphere is the Yellow Wall. The wall is the South stand at the Westfalenstadion and is the largest free-standing grandstand in Europe holding 25,000 of Dortmund's most passionate fans.

It creates quite the atmosphere and is the envy of plenty of other teams. So it's no surprise that when building a new stadium one Premier League club is hoping to replicate it.

In plans show off yesterday at a fans' forum American architect Dan Meis told Everton fans of his plans for the Toffees new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock With Meis saying, "We're planning on creating a very large home end in the south stand of the stadium which should be similar to Dortmund's Yellow Wall.

"Depending on the final stadium capacity, the stand will hold 12,000-15,000 fans and we also want to include a concourse that will look back at the city, immediately by the home end that would be very cool."

The new ground could be equipped with the biggest video screen in the Premier League, which could be handy if VAR ever comes to England's top tier and replays are actually shown.

Everton are likely to want to recreate the closeness the fans currently enjoy with the pitch at Goodison Park.

The future for the Merseyside club looks like an interesting ones if the plans come through.
