Leicester's preparations for tonight's clash with Liverpool were hit by an unexpected interruption this afternoon, after a hearse was sent to the King Power Stadium to mark the death of football.

The Foxes take on Jurgen Klopp's men in their first Premier League match tonight since Claudio Ranieri was brutally sacked last week - a mere nine months after helping the club win their first-ever league title in historic fashion.

Fans and pundits alike were aghast at the Leicester board's decision to part company with the Italian, and it seems that mood is yet to dissipate, given the scene outside their ground today.
