In one of the more positive Birmingham City pitch invading stories of late, a fan arrested as part of the team's last minute goal celebrations against Rotherham was visited by star striker Che Adams after the game.

The Blues won 3-1 away at Rotherham's New York Stadium, with Kerim Mrabti scoring a 93rd minute goal to seal the victory.

And fan Jase Stokes was so overcome with emotion and passion that he couldn't stop himself from ending up on the pitch with the players.

He was arrested for encroaching the pitch but it was well worth it as top scorer Adams paid him a visit while he was detained in the police van and the pair even had a picture together.

And in what was is the best part of the story, the two were teammates at Non-League Ilkeston back in the day. Just brilliant.

Jase has now been released from custody and his first post on social media was typically brilliant.

In another ace pitch invader story, Carlos Tevez saved a Boca Juniors supporter after he received some rough treatment from security back in November.

One fan managed to make his way onto the 'La Bombanera' pitch during an open training session but was quickly thwarted by the police present. However, Boca legend Tevez stepped in and calmed the whole situation.

The well-travelled striker walked over to let guards know it was ok, gave him a hug and then gifted him the training shirt he had been wearing for the session.

The fella also got to embrace other members of the Boca squad in what must have been the best day of his life.
