Paddy Power Paid Out Fan's Jesse Lingard Bet, Donates Winnings To Black Lives Matter Movement

Paddy Power Paid Out Fan's Jesse Lingard Bet, Donates Winnings To Black Lives Matter Movement

The fan who lost his Jesse Lingard bet had it paid out by Paddy Power, but he brilliantly donated the winnings to charity.

Antony Johnson revealed after 36 Premier League games that he had placed the bet revolving around the Manchester United midfielder.

Johnson bet £3.30 and could have received a return of £135.30 if Lingard hadn't found the back of the net in the 98th minute against Leicester City.

Fair play to Johnson who also saw the funny side of Lingard bagging a late, late goal on Sunday.

"Should never have doubted the true king. Top trolling by @JesseLingard," he wrote.
