FIFA have selected 70 of the best footballers from the past 12 months with fans voting for their best XI.
Special cards will be produced for the 11 best players with the most votes in their respective position, which will be made playable for FIFA players.
FIFA fans aren't the only people who are constructing their best XI with former Bayern Munich and Manchester United star Schweinsteiger selecting his FIFA 21 Team of the Year.
And the German legend has opted for an interesting side - excluding Ronaldo and Messi while naming Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson over the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Thiago.
He's picked fellow countryman Manuel Neuer in net with a back three of Sergio Ramos, Virgil van Dijk and Marquinhos.
Raphael Guerreiro, the aforementioned Henderson, Kevin De Bruyne and Joshua Kimmich make up his midfield.
And, in attack, he's chosen Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski.
- Manuel Neuer
- Sergio Ramos
- Virgil van Dijk
- Raphael Guerreiro
- Jordan Henderson
- Kevin De Bruyne
- Joshua Kimmich
- Kylian Mbappe
- Robert Lewandowski
Needless to say, his team got fans talking on social media.
One Twitter user wrote: "How much did you pay him to say Henderson?"
A second tweeted: "Man put Guerreiro and Henderson..."
A third added: "Guy's still salty that Messi destroyed him in 2015."
What's your take on Schweinsteiger's team? Let us know.
