He may be an Old Trafford icon, but Peter Schmeichel hasn't found any space in his FIFA 18 ultimate XI for any Manchester United players. Although two Manchester City players do make the squad.
In fact, only one United player is named in Schmeichel's entire squad, with right-back Antonio Valencia making the substitutes bench.
City duo Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne are named on the bench alongside the Ecuadorian and Bayern Munich trio Manuel Neuer, Arturo Vidal and Mats Hummels.

It would appear that a slight sense of (understandable) nepotism has influenced Schmeichel's selection of starting goalkeeper, with his son Kasper being named as his number one.

Schmeichel's centre-halves are Gianluigi Buffon's favourite henchman Giorgio Chiellini and Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta while Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves are handling the full-back berths.
