Brazil don't exactly have fond memories of the World Cup of late, so for all you Brazilians reading this, I'll save you the explanation and carry on like nothing has happened. It's probably for the best.
That being said, If you look at the impressive strength in depth this current Brazil squad boast compared to years gone by, you might be pleasantly surprised by the progress made by Tite and co.
Plenty have criticised Brazil for a lack of quality in recent years, but this team could really cause problems at the World Cup this summer.

Yes they have a deadly front three of Neymar, Willian and Roberto Firmino, but those two defensive midfielders - Casemiro and Fernandinho - will steady the ship.
We certainly won't see any 7-1's this time round.
Brazil's back four is equally as strong. You could even suggest that they have the strongest defensive line-up of the tournament and that's saying something. Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Dani Alves have looked solid for Paris Saint-German this season.
Not to forget the balance of attack and defence from Real Madrid left-back Marcelo.
Just look at the strength in depth here. Gabriel Jesus, Malcom, Douglas Costa, Fabinho, Danilo and Ederson might not even make the starting XI, which is ridiculous when you think about it.

The pressure will be on the likes of Germany and France this summer, so the Brazilians could just slide under the radar and snatch a famous win.
