A Starting XI Who Haven't Been Included In A 23-Man Squad For The World Cup

A ridiculous amount of talent.

It was announced earlier that the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Alvaro Morata, Marcos Alonso and Hector Bellerin, among others, would not represent Spain at the World Cup this summer.

It has been quite the day in terms of World Cup news. Roberto Martinez has been heavily scrutinised after he left out Radja Nainggolan, while Croatia, Argentina and Spain have also cropped a number of surprises in their 23-man squads, including Juan Mata, Pedro and Javi Martinez.

Just look at the amount of talent Spain have at their disposal. Would any of the following get in Gareth Southgate's England's squad?

After sifting through all of the teams, I've decided to create an incredibly talented team of players who have been omitted from their countries 23-man squad and well, this starting XI would arguably challenge for the World Cup this summer.

From the blistering pace of Anthony Martial and Kingsley Coman in attacking positions to the solid and experienced midfield consisting of Cesc Fabregas and Radja Nainggolan.

This team has great balance throughout.

Brazilian full-backs Dani Alves and Alex Sandro would cause a huge amount of problems in wide areas, while Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi would provide the goals.

Not to mention the two centre-backs, David Luiz and Marc Bartra, who might just be the weak links in this otherwise dangerous line-up.

Alves, who suffered a knee injury in the Coup de France final, would have almost certainly been included in the squad, but the unfortunate incident has meant that Corinthians full-back Fagner has been given a huge chance to prove his worth.

Here's the starting XI in full.
