Cristiano Ronaldo is as brilliant as he is classy. The Portugal skipper bagged his third consecutive 'Man of the Match' honours but didn't keep the award.

Portugal secured passage to the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup by easily beating New Zealand 4-0.

Which included a wonderful solo goal from the man hailed as the successor to Ronaldo; Andre Silva.

While Portugal bagged another three points, Ronaldo was also named the 'Man of the Match.' He's now won back-to-back-to-back gongs following his heroics on international duty.

The Confederation Cup has also given Manchester City fans a glimpse of their new play maker, Bernardo Silva. City sealed his services after completing a £45 million transfer from AS Monaco.

Silva performed brilliantly in the middle of the park last season which included a Champions League meeting against City.

And he's continued his fine form into the international arena, and capped his performance with a goal. But, unfortunately for Portugal and City, as he scored he got injured in the process.

Though despite being forced off, Ronaldo deemed his outing worthy of the 'Man of the Match' award. Silva shared an image on his Instagram of the Real Madrid player handing him over his prize.

Class, Cristiano.

Portugal are back in action on Wednesday night as they seek a spot in Sunday's final.

Will the European champions go all the way?
