How does it feel to ruin the lives of three players? Well, just ask Karim Benzema.

Real Madrid were under severe pressure from Atletico Madrid following their rapid start, which included the hosts racing to a 2-goal lead thanks to Saul Niguez's pinpoint header and Antoine Griezmann's dodgy penalty.

But with a few minutes left of the first-half, Benzema produced a utterly ridiculous piece of skill to completely ruin not one but THREE defenders.

He received the ball with his back to goal before turning beautifully, eventually showing sublime feet on the byline to skip past the onrushing defenders.

Diego Godin, Stefan Savic and Jose Gimenez were left eating his dust in embarrassment as they watched Isco pounce from a Toni Kroos shot.

The crucial away goal effectively killed the tie as Real Madrid now seek to write themselves into the history books by defending the Champions League title.

And after securing passage to the showpiece in Cardiff, Wales, Benzema explained the immense piece of trickery, "I tried and it happened, that re-launched the team, It is a deep ball," he told Canal+.

While detailing his thought process as defenders suffocated him for space,"I'm a little lonely and suddenly three defenders come to me. Then I try and it happens. I catch the ball well and pass to Kroos. That relaunched the team."

"Everyone is involved, everyone, this is important in big teams. It is what is needed with a starting team and a bench, where each player responds. It is what has been done since the beginning of this season and we will continue like this."

Then giving his view on the Juventus clash, "We know what Juventus are like. It's a great team. If they reach the final it is not because they have not done anything. They are in the final and have players and great talent. But we will rest well and we will go out and win that final."

Juventus. Real Madrid. June 3rd. We can't wait!
