Bayern Munich have strolled to yet another domestic league title but it's clear that the club need new additions if they are to compete to a greater level in the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti's side were knocked out at the quarter final stage, losing 6-3 on aggregate against Real Madrid after Los Blancos scored three times in extra time to knock the Bavarians out.

And so in order to be better prepared next time around, Ancelotti is to be handed some big money to make several new signings in the summer window.

According to German outlet Welt, Ancelotti is to have a transfer budget of €100 million to spend on reinforcements.

And that budget is set to be spent on five players, if Bayern are successful in landing the targets they have identified.

Bayern have been heavily linked with a move for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.

Still yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates, the Chilean is said to be the top target for the Bundesliga winners going into the summer window.

But they are also looking to strengthen in other areas. Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka is high on their wishlist, and some reports have even indicated that a deal is as a good as done for the German to join the club.

Bayern will also look to sign a second player from their domestic league in the form of Serge Gnabry, the former Arsenal winger who has been in fine form for Werder Bremen.

Lastly, Bayern are in need of a new central midfielder to take over from the retiring Xabi Alonso, and PSG midfielder Marco Verratti appears to be the ideal candidate.

The Italian is also being courted by Barcelona.
