Both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will be wearing kits made entirely from recycled ocean waste this weekend as part of a new initiative.

Adidas have partnered with Parley for the Oceans to create the products and raise awareness about protecting and preserving our oceans.

Made from Parley Ocean Plastic and water-based environmentally friendly prints, the all-white Real Madrid and all-red Bayern Munich kits feature the same club crests, adidas three stripes and sponsors' logos in the same colour as the kit for a unique look.

The kit has been designed as a one-off and will see both European giants wearing it in one of their matches this month; Bayern will be sporting the kit in their match with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga this weekend, while Real Madrid debut the kit for the first and only time in a league match with Sporting Gijon on 26 November.

Both Marcelo and Xabi Alonso were drafted in to showcase the new kits as part of the ground-breaking partnership.

Fans have both clubs will be able to get their hands of the rare jerseys. The adidas x Parley Bayern Munich jersey is available on adidas.com/parley and in selected stores from Friday 4 November. The adidas x Parley Real Madrid jersey is available on adidas.com/parley and in selected stores from Thursday 24 November.
