Barcelona are wasting no time in plans to overhaul their existing squad after reports suggest that they could sell up to ten first-team players this summer.

The La Liga champions have enjoyed domestic success this season and still have the chance to win the Copa del Rey later this month, but missing out on the Champions League crown has been a massive blow to them.

According to Diario AS, the Spanish club are getting ready for a summer clearout and three high-profile players feature on the list: Samuel Umtiti, Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitić.

Umtiti, who has been linked with Juventus, has fallen down the pecking order behind Clément Lenglet and Gerard Piqué and could find his playing time reduced even more next season should Barça snap up Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.

Meanwhile, Coutinho has found himself on the criticism from fans a fair bit this season and has been linked with clubs like Manchester United.

Rakitić, on the other hand, has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan, with the arrival of Frenkie de Jong in the summer potentially having a knock-on effect on his first-team appearances next season.

Football Espana says that the three players are 'identified by the club as being sellable,' as well as claiming that they are 'taking up disproportionately high wages with none seen as regular first-team starters for next season onwards.'

Barcelona will also be looking to salvage some funds from Malcom, who has failed to make an impact at the Camp Nou since his move from Bordeaux last summer.

Other players also on the chopping block include Jasper Cillessen, Thomas Vermaelen and Rafinha.

AS also reported that Barça will be sending Kevin-Prince Boateng and Jeison Murillo, who are both on loan, back to their parent clubs of Sassuolo and Valencia respectively.

Jean-Clair Todibo, who signed for the club in January, could reportedly be 'moved on with a buy-back option.'

Which players should Barcelona sign in the summer?
