Barcelona are fuming with Ivan Rakitic after he celebrated Sevilla's Europa League triumph over Inter Milan last night.

Having captained the club to success in the competition in 2014, the Croatian was ecstatic to see his former employers lift the trophy for a sixth time in 14 years after a 3-2 victory in Cologne.

Rakitic was seen jumping in a swimming pool during an interview as he celebrated the big win - clearly showing he still has a fondness for Sevilla.

And while Barca are aware of that, Mundo Deportivo say the club believe he was "unprofessional" to celebrate in such a manner given it was only a week after the Blaugrana suffered an 8-2 demolition at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Rakitic joined Barcelona from Sevilla six years ago and has won four La Liga titles, four Copa Del Reys and one Champions League

The former Schalke man has fallen out of favour this season, however, and was an unused substitute in the crushing Champions League quarter final defeat in Lisbon.

He has been linked with an emotional return to Andalusia, though Spurs and Arsenal are also said to be keen on Rakitic. He has a contract with Barcelona until 2021 but could well leave this summer as part of a major overhaul at the Nou Camp.
