Barack Obama Reveals His Daughters' Favourite Footballer

On a recent trip to Buenos Aires, Barack Obama admitted that, even though he and his daughters have met one of the most famous and beloved Argentineans in Pope Francis, there was still another of the country's famous sons that they wanted to spend some time with.

It turns out that the US President's daughters are fans of Lionel Messi, but even their 'leader of the free world' father couldn't arrange for it to happen.

"I also wanted to bring my daughters here, so they could see the beauty and the vibrancy of this city.

"They've already met one famous Argentinian - His Holiness Pope Francis. Now they want to meet Messi, but I could not arrange that."
