Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became Arsenal's club-record signing in January when he signed in a reported £56 million move from Borussia Dortmund - and it's emerged that his Gunners deal has some rather strange clauses.

According to the latest batch of Football Leaks from German magazine, Der Spiegel, via the Daily Mail, the Gabon international, who is on a weekly wage of £198,000 a week, receives £50,000 for every Premier League game he starts and Arsenal win - the amount currently standing at £250,000 as Arsenal have won just five domestic games where he has started.

Moreover, he's entitled to a payment of £300,000 should he reach 25 goals and assists in a season. At present, Aubameyang has contributed to 13 goals at the club, scoring nine and assisting four - but you'd think he'd be well on course to receive that pay-out in his first full season in England next term.

Then there's loyalty bonuses of £15.1 million due to be paid in four instalments before his Arsenal contract is up in 2021.

But the most ridiculous detail in the 28-year old's contract at the Emirates is that he is still raking in a massive £2.26 million Champions League bonus.

Arsenal will not be playing in Europe's premier club competition next term due to them lying in sixth place in the Premier League, coupled with their Europa League semi-final shortcomings against Atletico Madrid.

Yet weirdly, Aubameyang is still getting that bonus despite his side not actually qualifying!

His Arsenal teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whom he linked up with so well at Borussia Dortmund received an £8.65 million bonus when he was involved in the swap deal that took Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford, while his £144,000-a-week pay will become £240,00 if he extends his stay in North London.
