Arsenal's current predicament looks even worse when you consider the Gunners are paying their squad more than £100 million in wages.
The Mirror have posted figures of each player's weekly wage at the Emirates, with Mesut Ozil the club's highest-paid player on £350,000-a-week.
Striker duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette collect £400,000-a-week, which is pretty justifiable considering their goals.

But Gooners won't be pleased reading that Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi, two of their most unpopular players, earn £5.4 million and £4.6 million annually respectively.
Club-record capture Nicolas Pepe, who joined for £72 million from Lille in the summer, is on £140-000-a-week but is yet to properly get going in an Arsenal shirt.
Summer signing David Luiz earns just over £125,000-a-week, with fellow defenders Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac also both taking home at least £100,000 per week.
English trio Rob Holding, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Callum Chambers are among some of the club's lowest first-team earners, along with Damian Martinez
