Arsenal may have been significantly boosted by the arrivals of Henrikh Mhkitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as well as by the news that Mesut Ozil has put pen to paper on a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, but the old injury curse that has plagued the Gunners for years appears to have struck again.
And only a few days away from the North London derby.
However, Gunners fans needn't worry too much, as neither Ozil nor any of the club's new arrivals are the ones who will be watching the game against Tottenham from the sidelines.

Instead, it appears as though Petr Cech will miss out at Wembley, this weekend.
The Czech goalkeeper had to depart the pitch early during Arsenal's 5-1 demolition of Everton on Saturday evening with a calf problem and has until Friday to prove his fitness, otherwise he will be replaced in Arsene Wenger's starting line up by David Ospina.

The last time Ospina started a Premier League game for the Gunners was last April, but given some of Cech's shaky performances recently, including his monumental error during last week's 3-1 defeat against Swansea City, some Arsenal fans may not be too perturbed by his absence for the trip to Wembley.

Given how well the likes of Mhkitaryan and Aubameyang have adjusted to life at the Emirates Stadium, already, this past week, perhaps losing your first choice goalkeeper for one of the biggest games of the season isn't such a nightmare, after all.
