Mesut Ozil is absent for Arsenal's home game with West Ham through illness and Gunners fans are not happy with deja vu striking again..
As gifted and talented he is, the German's application and desire has regularly come under criticism and it's fair to say plenty of Arsenal supporters are not buying the news that he's unavailable selection for today because he's ill - given it's been a recurring theme in recent times.

The former Real Madrid man was substituted after 68 minutes against Chelsea and was not pictured in training at the Emirates on Friday. Frustrated fans voiced their displeasure on social media:

So poor old Mesut Ozil is "ill" again
More likely, Emery told him to work hard in training and he threw his toys out the pram, did anybody see his little sulky reaction when he was subbed at the Bridge? One of our 5 captains? Do me a favour :joy:

I'm convinced Ozil has a menstrual cycle. He takes a week off every month because he's "ill". At least women firm it, pussyboy @MesutOzil1088

When asked about comments from Uli Hoeness regarding Ozil after his retirement from the German national team, Unai Emery said:
"We are here to help him. We are his family and it is his home. We are used to being criticised but we are professional. In our careers, as coaches and players, we are going to receive criticism.
"When we do well, they are going to speak about us well. We need to live with this. Here, we need and we want to help him."
Arsenal are in desperate need of their first win of the season, following successive defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.
