Antoine Griezmann Slapped With An Eye-Watering Release Clause

Antoine Griezmann is attracting plenty of suitors but recently committed his future to Atletico Madrid penning a new five-year-deal which includes a hell of a release clause.

Though, contracts mean jack-shit nowadays, as he continues to be monitored up by Europe's elite with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG among others reportedly keen.

The 25-year-old attacking dynamo has dazzled for both club and country, despite failing in the Champions League final then the Euro's, he's still garnering high praise for his super-quick play and laser-like passes as well as his eye for a goal.

If a club did want to acquire his services they could trigger his release clause. Which is an eye watering amount.

The French starlet has been slapped with a staggering £85.5 million release clause.

It sure is a lot of money but this is the 2016 transfer market where mediocre players are commanding extortionate fees, Griezmann is actually worth that, well, going by current transfer landscape.

Anyone prepared to activate that clause?
