Antoine Griezmann Finally Makes Decision On His Future

He dragged it out, didn't he?

After a whole lot of speculation and palaver, Antoine Griezmann has officially announced where he will be playing with his football.

The Frenchman had been heavily linked with La Liga champions Barcelona, with several reports saying he would be the Catalan outfit's next marquee signing.

But having dragged it out for a lot longer than he probably needed to, including filming two different decision videos and trying to initiate Lebron James' infamous 2010 Miami Heat signing announcement, Griezmann finally announced on a Spanish TV documentary this evening that he will be staying at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Since joining Atleti in a £27 million deal from Real Sociedad in 2014, Griezmann has scored an impressive total of 112 goals for the club.

In 2017/18, he found the net 29 times in 49 games as Diego Simeone's side won the Europa League for the third time.

What do you make of Griezmann's decision and how it's gone about making it public?

Sound off in the comments.
