There was some serious 'Griezmannception' going on when Antoine Griezmann took on Scott McTominay at PES2020.

Playing with his own Barcelona side, the Frenchman beat the Manchester United midfielder in the final of the Solidarity Challenge tournament and it was a double from the virtual Griezmann that gave him the victory.

The whole game was streamed live on YouTube and it captured the moment Griezmann did the 'Hotline bling' celebration in sync with his avatar at the very same time after firing home a right-footed shot.

It could have been worse - Griezmann could have gone for the 'Take the L' Fornite-inspired celebration that many were demanding be put in FIFA.

In terms of FIFA 20, Sergio Aguero has been producing some hilarious reactions to incidents involving his virtual self on the game.

The Argentine, who streams on Twitch and uses his Premier League Player of the Month awards to stand his camera up, missed a chance with himself and produced a priceless reaction.

Real life Aguero and virtual Aguero both put their hands on their head in frustration at the very sames second. Sensational realism from EA Sports, it has to be said.

More recently, City's all-time top scorer saw teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko score past him with virtual Aguero in the City Football Group FIFA Challenge.
