Angel Di Maria has played with some of the best in the world at some of the biggest clubs during his career.

So it comes as a surprise that few of his club team-mates - past or present - failed to make the grade as he picked his dream 5-a-side team.

The Argentinian playmaker is currently gearing up for his country's World Cup qualifier against Paraguay.

And while he's away on international duty, his current club PSG have released a video of the winger selecting his ultimate 5s line-up.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star included himself in the team, while Argie team-mate Javier Mascherano was drafted in as the defensive anchor.

Unsurprisingly, Di Maria picked his old Madrid colleague Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine superstar Lionel Messi. He completed his team by picking Italian maestro Andrea Pirlo in midfield.

It could leave a number of players' noses out of joint when you consider the number of world-class talents he's shared a dressing room with over the years. And despite his short and disastrous spell at United under Louis Van Gaal, some of his old team-mate there might feel slightly aggrieved they weren't in contention.

You can find out why he made his preferred selections in the video below:
