Herrera was reportedly on £130,000-a-week at United who offered him a new deal, but they couldn't match PSG's astronomical contract.
He wanted in excess of £200,000-a-week at Old Trafford though the board failed to meet his demands with the player swapping England for France.

Herrera spent five seasons in England following his switch from Athletic Bilbao in 2014.

He'll now call Paris home and he's hailed the French capital as the most beautiful city in the world.
"Paris Saint-Germain is the biggest club in France, which continues to progress, and who plays to win all possible titles," PSG's new No.21 said.
"I really wanted to go to Paris and wear those colours. The club has a very beautiful story and I am happy to be able to write new pages! Joining this club is an extraordinary sensation.
"I also like the city. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world. I promise you three things: work, professionalism and passion.
"I also promise to improve my level of French because I think that language is very important for the communication of a team."
