Despite Old Trafford being evacuated after a suspicious package, which later was discovered to be a phone attached to a gas pipe with wires connected to it, the Manchester United players were kept in their changing room, with Ander Herrera describing the situation as "tense and nervous".
Herrera spoke to Spanish radio station COPE amid the security scare, explaining that he and his teammates would be the last ones to leave Old Trafford, as the military were called in to carry out a controlled explosion on the device, which was found on the fifth floor of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.
"We are still in the dressing room and it seems we'll be the last ones to leave the stadium.

"It has been very tense and we have all been nervous."
It was believed that the device was of a size that the players would be OK even if it was to explode. Not that that fact makes the situation any less serious or worrying.
Thankfully, it seems as if, fingers crossed, the situation at Old Trafford is now safe and under control.
