Alisson Becker was officially unveiled as a Liverpool player on Thursday, and the Brazilian keeper revealed the brilliant exchanges he had with Mohamed Salah during negotiations.
The AS Roma keeper was wanted by many, many clubs. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, to name but a few, had expressed an interest.
However, Liverpool have secured his services ahead of the new season by tabling a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper.
Alisson joins Anfield in a deal worth a reported £62 million and reunites with former AS Roma teammate Salah, who arrived at the club last summer and endured a truly scintillating debut campaign scoring goals for fun.

"We didn't have that much contact after he left Roma," Alisson said about Salah to LFC.
The 25-year-old added: "We met again in the game when we were up against each other [in the Champions League in April].

"Yesterday, he sent me a message saying: 'Hey, what are you waiting for?' As the negotiations were at an advanced stage, I replied to him straight away saying: 'Calm down, I'm on my way!'
"I'm really happy to have the opportunity to play alongside him again. As well as being a great player, he is a huge character and a great person - which is the most important thing.
"To be with these great people and players day to day is fantastic for me."
Liverpool finally land their man.
