Alan Pardew Leaves West Bromwich Albion

Alan Pardew Leaves West Bromwich Albion

The former Crystal Palace manager has left just months after taking charge with the side still in the Premier League relegation zone.

They'll be no Pardew Shuffle at the end of the season now. Pardiola and West Brom have 'parted company' with the manager unable to change around their fortunes and take them out of the relegation zone.

West Brom have been a team in crisis pretty much all season and sacking Tony Pulis and replacing him with Alan Pardew really hasn't helped their cause at all. The former Crystal Palace boss didn't even bring his usual new manager bounce with him.

The Baggies, once famed for their yo-yoing between the Premier League and Championship, lost 2-1 at home to Burnley on Saturday which left them 10 points from safety and with just six games left. Considering they've won just three games all season that seems unlikely.

It's not been a good time for Pards at all with the incident with a taxi the most notable part of his tenure with the club.

The Premier League side confirmed the 56 year-old, who was only appointed in November, had left the Hawthorns with immediate effect with a statement that read:

"West Bromwich Albion and Alan Pardew have agreed to mutually part company today following discussions between both parties.

"Assistant Head Coach John Carver will also be leaving. The Club would like to thank Alan and John for their efforts and wish them well in their future endeavours.

"First-team coach Darren Moore has been placed in charge of first team affairs until further notice.

"The Club will not be making any further comment at this time."

As he goes dancing off into the horizon we doubt any West Brom fans will miss him.
