Lionel Messi missed a penalty as his side lost out in another international final, subsequently calling time on his Argentina career.
Yet more international heartbreak has led to the Barca legend bringing the curtain down on his Argentina career. But those thinking this may be a knee-jerk reaction could be proved wrong, as Manchester City frontman Sergio Aguero has revealed the full extent of Messi's emotional state following the Copa America final penalty shoot-out defeat to Chile.
Aguero, a longtime international compatriot, has claimed this was the most devastated he has ever seen him, saying;

"We are all s****y, we are trying to think about other things and continue on forward. But it's hard. Once again luck has gone against us. Unfortunately, the most broken one is Messi for his missed penalty. It is the worst I have ever seen him in the dressing rooms after a game."

The 29-year-old has failed to emulate his incredible club form for La Albiceleste, as it's believed Aguero is also considering his Argentina career.
