In what is utterly brilliant news for fans of football nostalgia, it appears as though the iconic Predator Mania football boots will be getting a re-release.

The original Predators came to prominence in 2002, with high-profile names such as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Alessandro Del Piero and Zinedine ZIdane sporting the Adidas boots.

As the game of football has evolved, the designs and colour schemes of football boots have got more ridiculous; snotty green and bright orange to name a few.

But Adidas are going back to one of their most famous products, with an updated version of the 'champagne' coloured Predator Mania boots set to be released in 2017.

The boots are getting modernised with technology in order to create a lighter boot but the classic elastic tongue remains and with the fins on the inside of the boot, it will likely lead to a host of Sunday League players trying to bend it like Beckham from 30-yards out.

Fans will reportedly be able to get their hands on the boots in March, but the limited edition cleats won't come on the cheap. Footy Headlines say that they will cost $330 (ยฃ250) so anyone wanting to relive their school football glory days will have to cough up a considerable amount.
