When Adel Taarabt shows his kids his career highlights they will probably be think he was one of the best to ever play in the game.

The Moroccan is one of the most naturally gifted players ever seen and was capable of producing magic with a ball at his feet.

Jermaine Jenas thought Spurs had signed the second coming of Zidane when he turned up at White Hart Lane but too often his attitude and application wasn't there and it's led to him not quite living up to the hype as a result.

However, the fact remains that he single-handedly made Soccer AM's 'Showboat' feature a thing with his many tricks and puzzles.

The nutmegs, the stepovers, the flicks. Taarabt is genuinely one of the most exciting players to watch and this two-minute compilation of him ruining people is a great way to pass time on a drab Tuesday in lockdown.

Taarabt signed for Benfica in 2015 when his deal at Loftus Road was terminated, penning a five-year contract with the Portuguese giants.

He ended up playing with the club's reserve team to begin with, before joining Genoa on loan in 2017-18.

After a four-year wait, Taarabt would then make his debut for Benfica's first-team in March 2019 and has become so important that he was rewarded with a new contract back in August.
