Adama Traore Warns He 'Can Be Even Faster' Ahead Of Premier League Return

It's a very worrying to the rest of the league...

Adama Traore might have the physique of a 100m sprinter, rugby player and world heavyweight champion rolled into one but he's still not content with the shape he's in.

In fact, the Wolves winger has been working hard in lockdown to be even more of a physical specimen as we head into the return of the Premier League season.

Given he's already the fastest player in the league by quite a margin, it's quite a scary proposition for full-backs who will have to mark him in the coming weeks.

"We have been working hard to get back to full fitness. The staff gave us some plans that we have been able to do while at home," he told the Wolves website.

"If you have a gym in your house, you can maintain your fitness the same way you have when you're on the field.

"But I think every player in the team has been working hard by themselves in their houses and they've come back stronger.

"I've been working a lot in the house and I've been using the plans they've given us, because in myself, I want to be the best I can be, so when I get back on the pitch, I can be even faster."

Traore, who has found his end product this season with four goals and seven assists, has experienced quite the body transformation over the years - going from a scrawny build to an absolute unit.

But incredibly, this has been achieved with the use of weights. As his training regime shows, the former Barcelona man does not include any dumbbells or barbells in his workouts.

He told MARCA: "I train every day with my physical coach, people ask if I do weights or on social media they ask if I take something or what I do, but I don't, it's just prevention and physical work, I don't do work to get muscle because I get muscle really quickly.

"No, I haven't lifted a single weight. I know people won't believe it, but it's true."
