AC Milan returned to European football, earning a place in next season's Europa League after finishing in sixth place in Serie A.
But in order to well and truly get the club back in the big-time, Milan are going to have to spend big this summer.
The San Siro club were recently sold by Silvio Berlusconi to Chinese consortium Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux for €740 million and the new owners have already been moving swiftly in the transfer market.

Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio was the first to sign, while the club also beat a number of top European clubs to secure the signature of in-demand Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.

And a third signing is set to be wrapped up imminently, with Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, joining the club from German side Wolfsburg.

Rodriguez has already flew in to Milan for a medical, and one would expect an official announcement to be on the way very soon.
