A Selection Of The Worst Hairstyles Ever Seen In Football
As football fans, we tend to concentrate on the feet of those on the pitch and are often in awe of the things some players can do with a football.
But on many an occasion, we can't help but look at the odd and utterly bizarre footballer hairstyle choices.
Here are some of the worst hairstyles we have seen in the weird and wonderful game of football.
Granted Joe Cole was only a young, immature player at the time but after his breakthrough at West Ham, he sported one of the worst haircuts we have ever seen. No words for this...
Taribo West has quite an interesting career in the game of football. Not many footballers have played both for Italian heavyweights Inter and AC Milan, yet have also plied their trade with Derby County and Plymouth Argyle.

The only thing weirder than that is the number of unusual hairstyles West has had. Just crazy...
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is a football hipster's dream; a smart style, beard and haircut. His son Giovanni on the other hand is responsible for one of the worst haircuts we've ever seen.

What is this!?
Like Taribo West, Djibril Cisse has been around the block but is also notorious for chopping and changing his hairstyles at a rapid rate.
We're still undecided as to which one is his worst...
The Brazilian icon is well remembered his outrageous ability and instinct but also sported an utterly terrible hairstyle in the 2002 World Cup.
Whoever told him that it would look good was lying...

To his credit, David Beckham is a suave fella who has tasted great success on and off the pitch.
But in his younger days, Beckham was prone to a horror haircut and has even admitted that himself. (The first google search including his name is "David Beckham hair")
From the top-knot to the skinhead, Beckham has made some bad decisions in the hair department, but nothing tops his braided effort.
Now considered an explosive but talented striker adorning the black and white colours of Newcastle, Aleksandar Mitrovic made a calamitous error in his Partizan Belgrade days.
Ab-Serb choice of hairstyle...
A good choice for a pacey striker on Fifa Ultimate Team in his heyday, the Brazilian hasn't exactly got the most normal taste in hairstyles.
He just loves brightly coloured dreadlocks...
How do you show your devotion for the club you play for? Kiss the badge? Celebrate with the fans? Javier Margas, while at West Ham, decided it would be best off to have his hair dyed in the West Ham colours.
Isn't that something 10-year old's do at football tournaments?...
For his age, Neymar's accomplishments in the game thus far have been phenomenal and he has already been tipped for more success. He's also one for outlandish haircuts and one of his worst ones came when at Santos.
Not a good look really...
Carlos Valderrama is a legend of the game and one of the most technically gifted players of his generation. And though he moved around a fair bit in his career, one constant was his trademark blonde afro.
When he finally cut it off in 2013, people weren't best pleased...
